If you’re on the heavier side, of course you should eat less fatty foods. Instead, go for better food options like vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and low fat yogurts.

    If you stick to a balanced, low-fat diet, you will be this much closer to getting six pack abs.

    2. Creating a general exercise strategy. When planning your exercise strategy around how to get abs, you must consider three aspects — where, when, and how you work out. It is important to choose an environment that is most advantageous for you.

    You can seek people who do the same exercise if this serves as a motivation for you. By joining a certain gym or signing up for a class in a fitness center, you can go workout with different people. On the other hand, if you are not comfortable working out with other people surrounding you, training in your own private space will do just fine.

    With regard to schedules, it depends on which part of the day you are most productive. Some people workout during the morning while some do it at night. It doesn’t really matter much anyway. What matters is that you maintain regularity in your exercises.
