    If you have been living on this planet for any length of time, chances are you have heard of the latest super food, the acai berry. The acai berry has several health benefits and is found high up on top of the palm trees located in the Amazon rain forest in South America.

    The number one reason why the acai berry is considered to be so special is because it is believed to be able to help prevent conditions such as heart disease and cancer. In fact, it is believed that no other food source can match the acai berry in terms of ingredients and concentration of these ingredients. One very noticeable quality of the acai berry is the phenomenal amount of fiber it contains. In Western diets it is firmly believed that a lack of fiber can be a leading cause of cancer and heart disease. Also, food which is rich in fiber helps us to feel full and this of course helps to prevent us from eating more than we need to, which in turn reduces the risk of developing diabetes and becoming overweight.

If you haven’t heard about this before, it’s simply the way your organs and body are affected by foods. Even though this can be irritating, it has no direct relation to the immune system.
