    Food is certainly not your enemy but what type of food you eat could be your enemy. A high fat content in your diet can cause you to gain weight and the first tip is to cut down at least 75% and only allow yourself around 25% of unsaturated fats. Another weight loss tip is to eliminate white sugar and replace it with either fruit or fructose. No fizzy drinks like coke or even diet coke. Just by eliminating these few things you will lose a considerable amount of weight

    Look around you on any given day and see the number people in this universe that are overweight, and you realize just what a problem obesity has become in this society. Life is moving at a very rapid pace these days with all the labor-cutting technology we have, and eating right has become less of a priority with a lot of people because they allow their schedules to take the reins and do not take the time to think about what junk they are stuffing in their gullets while on the run. Sometimes, though, it becomes a problem, and it is time to think about losing weight.

    One of the fast ways to lose weight is to go on a restricted diet of some sort. One of the more common ones is the low carbohydrate diet where one is allowed to eat all kinds of protein, but the carbohydrate intake is restricted—-in this way, you are tricking the body, so to speak, to burn fat and you will lose weight quickly. Lots of lean meat and other proteins, but no pasta, flour, wheat, corn, any kind of bread, or potatoes.

    In the forests of Brazil, there grows a small dark purple berry of the Amazon Palm called the Acai Berry. It has been used now for hundreds of years by the local indigenous people of the Amazon forests and has been known to aid in well being and weight control. More recently, in fact, the acai berry has been called one the world’s new super foods.

    The reason the acai berry is getting so much attention these days is because it has a plethora of antioxidants. Blueberries had once been held as the world’s number one super food because it was thought to have the world’s greatest number of antioxidants. However, it was recently discovered that the acai berry actually beats out the blueberry.
