<p>Use Smaller Plates &#8211; This may sound a little crazy, but reports have revealed that merely swapping larger plates for smaller ones you will eat less and not even notice. Essentially, you eat what&#8217;s given to you, and if less is on your plate, the less calories you consume.</p>

<p>Half Now, Half Later &#8211; Restaurant dishes are loaded with calories and their serving sizes seem to get bigger and bigger. Ask for a doggy bag at the beginning of the meal and immediately place half in it to take home for another meal.</p>
<p>Eat These To Fill Up &#8211; Studies have shown that eating water-rich foods, like broth-based soups, vegetables and fruits actually give you that full feeling quicker, minus the added calories. A good trick is to eat these foods at the start of the meal to fill up before you dig into the calorie dense main course.</p>
<p>Portion Control &#8211; A handy little trick to reduce the amount of junk food you eat is to portion out these foods into smaller quantities. It&#8217;s almost too easy to grab a full box of cookies and eat half of it in one sitting, but if that box has been split up into two or three cookie portions then you will be more likely to eat just that.</p>
<p>Following these techniques in conjunction with a proper low calorie diet plan and physical activity will have you losing weight as quickly and easily as possible.</p>

</div><p>Have you ever wondered which cardio exercise is the best? Is it low or high intensity exercise routine? In fact, both programs help us burn off body fat. Now let&#8217;s find out which one is better for fat loss?</p>
<p>Scientists found that high impact exercise enables the body to burn glycogen which is a kind of carbohydrates. The body stores glycogen in the liver and muscles and will use it for energy. It&#8217;s also believed that under a low impact exercise, the body burns a lot of fat.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, researchers were not completely correct. To this day, there are more overweight people than ever though they exercise with low intensity. Why is it?</p>
<p>Scientists, however, were correct when it came to low impact cardio exercises. A low impact exercise, like walking or swimming, burns more fat. But if we perform a high impact exercise, the body will burn calories, and lots of them. These calories come not only from glycogen but also from fat.</p>
<p>To put the icing on the cake, when our store of glycogen gets low, the carbohydrates from the food we eat will later be converted into glycogen to fill up the store instead of body fat when they are left unused.</p>
<p>Cardio exercises with high intensity will boost your metabolism during and after your workout. Your metabolism will still be active for long hours later.</p>
<p>However, this is not the case with low impact cardio exercise which will not boost your metabolism that long. In short, chances are high intensity training helps burn more body fat than low.</p>
<p>We can add high intensity exercises into our cardio workout by introducing some interval training &#8221; one of the best cardio exercises. We can walk for 5 minutes or so, then break into some jogging for another 5 minutes.</p>
<p>Continue to rotate afterward until you&#8217;re finished. For the best cardio exercises, I recommend you do a continuous routine of 15 minutes or more. If you do not like walking, you can use a cardio exercise machine.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s best about cardio is the more we do it, the more energy we&#8217;ll have. Cardio will help us burn calories, although it&#8217;s more useful for keeping our energy levels high.</p>
<p>For all newbies, be persistent and pace yourself, one step at a time. Be careful or you&#8217;ll get burned out! It is also important to track your progress to see how well you have been doing.</p>
