How to Drop Off Weight and Get Rid of Body Fat
Filed under dietNov 71. The fat loss that occurs in those first few days would more than likely be a compounding of fat, water and muscle.
2. If you are losing muscle it is because your body has got into starvation mode and is actually started to consume itself!!
3. Losing water is frequently something which happens at the beginning of the diet especially if you are suffering from any sort of water retentivity. This is only likely to have such a spectacular effect in the first week of your diet and will finally settle down.

If you have been experiencing numbness, tingling or pain in your hand and wrist, you may be having fleeting thoughts that carpal tunnel syndrome may be to blame. The name of this syndrome is often used to describe any number of similar problems with the wrists. To find out if you really have carpal tunnel syndrome or one of the other conditions, it is best to see your doctor. Carpal tunnel syndrome happens when the median nerve becomes compressed at the wrist. This nerve runs right down the center of your wrist into your palm and controls sensations to your first three fingers and your thumb. This nerve has to pass through a narrow passageway known as the carpal tunnel. The passageway is made of bones and ligaments at the base of your palm. Several tendons also run through this passageway. When the tendons become swollen or thickened, it can cause the nerve to become compressed. This may cause pain, numbness or weakness in your hand and wrist, and sometimes these feelings radiate up the arm as well.
Compression of the median nerve, that is in the wrist, is what causes Carpal tunnel syndrome to occur. This nerve is located through the center area of the wrist and goes through the palm of the hand, it handles the sensations that happen in your thumb and the 3 fingers next to it. The carpal tunnel is the passageway that this nerve passes through. It is composed of ligaments and bones just at the bottom of the palm. It also contains a few tendons. These tendons can swell and cause the median nerve to be compressed. This can create numbness, weakness, or pain to occur in the wrist and hand, and at times this pain shoots up through the arm. Carpal tunnel syndrome is the top reason that these symptoms occur.

Inner Peace – Balance – Stress Management – Confidence
What do all these things have in common? First, they are all things we want to work on improving in our busy American lifestyles. Getting better at these areas has long been recommended by health pros as a technique to increase our quality of living, reduce the chance of injury or illness, and even to live longer!
Second, these are all benefits of working out with Yoga! Hatha yoga – the physical yoga postures or “asanas” that most of us associate with yoga exercise – is a great way to build muscle, increase the range of motion in our joints, and create an opportunity for calm, balance and relaxation in our daily schedules. Now before you get nervous that I’m going to go all “transcendental” on you, don’t worry! Although yoga traditionally does include a lot of spiritual, meditative and holistic practices, you can get many of the benefits of a yoga lifestyle by just incorporating a little yoga fitness workout routine into your weekly schedule. Whether you can do 60-minutes 3x per week, or squeeze in some Sun Salutations for 15 minutes every morning – even a moderate increase in your activity level through the incorporation of yoga practices can help.
